Additional disk

Overview

You can configure additional disk options for KVM virtual servers in WHMCS. This allows customers to add, resize, or delete an additional disk for their virtual server.

Note:

  • This option is only available for KVM virtualization.
  • Using configurable options you can add only one additional disk per virtual server. There is no such limitation in SolusVM.
  1. Log in to your WHMCS administrator web interface.

  2. Navigate to System Settings > Products/Services > the created product > Module Settings and select the necessary offer that must be created in SolusVM.

  4. Click Create a New Group or select an existing group.

    Note:

We recommend keeping the configurable options group for resource selection separated from other groups. You can use one configurable options group for several resources, but do not mix them with Operating System, Application, or Location.

  5. Enter a group name, select the product you created earlier to assign to the group, and then click Save Changes.

  6. Click Add New Configurable Option. A new browser window opens where you can specify the option settings.

  7. Enter Additional Disk in the option name field and select Dropdown as the option type.

  8. In the Add Option field, enter the option value following the pattern: DISK_SIZE|TITLE, and then click Save Changes. The pattern components are:

    • DISK_SIZE — The disk size in GB. Use 0 to delete the disk.
    • TITLE — The title of the option to display in WHMCS.
  9. Repeat the previous step for each disk size you want to offer. Once finished, click Close Window.
