Overview

Plan parameters define the resource allocation and capabilities of SolusVM VPS products. You can configure these parameters as customizable options in WHMCS, allowing customers to select their desired resource levels when ordering.

Available plan parameters

The following plan parameters can be configured as customizable options:

  • Memory — Configure RAM allocation for VPS (KVM and VZ).
  • vCPU — Set the number of virtual CPU cores (KVM and VZ).
  • vCPU Limit — Define CPU usage limits (VZ only).
  • vCPU Units — Configure CPU priority weighting (VZ only).
  • Disk space — Specify storage allocation (KVM and VZ).
  • Swap — Configure swap space allocation (VZ only).
  • Total traffic limit — Set bandwidth limits (KVM and VZ).
  • Extra IP — Allow customers to add additional IP addresses (KVM and VZ).
  • IO Priority — Configure disk I/O priority (VZ only).
  • Enable backups — Allow customers to enable backup functionality (KVM and VZ).
  • Enable snapshots — Allow customers to enable snapshot functionality (KVM only, specific storage types).
  • Enable disaster recovery — Allow customers to enable disaster recovery features.

How plan parameters work

When you configure plan parameters as customizable options, customers can select their desired resource levels during the ordering process. Each parameter uses a specific pattern format to define the resource value and display name in WHMCS. The system applies the selected values to the VPS upon provisioning.
