Introduction to SolusVM

SolusVM is a virtual infrastructure management solution. It offers businesses and organizations the ability to deploy and manage virtual servers, both to be rent to paying customers and to be used internally.

Deployment

Here is what you need to deploy SolusVM:

  • A single physical or virtual server running a supported Linux distribution/version. Install the management node on this server, which enables managing the cluster and provides the web interface to both administrators and clients.
  • One or more physical or virtual servers running a supported Linux distribution/version. Register these servers in SolusVM as compute resources to host virtual servers. These servers must have KVM support, Virtuozzo, or OpenVZ installed.

SolusVM offers the following features:

  • Customizable graphical interfaces for managing both the cluster as a whole and for managing individual customers’ virtual servers.
  • Support for KVM virtualization and Virtuozzo/OpenVZ containers.
  • Support for a wide range of operating systems, including CentOS, Rocky Linux™, AlmaLinux OS, Debian®, Ubuntu, Alpine Linux, and Windows®.
  • A full-featured RESTful API. Anything you can do via the GUI, you can do via the API.
