Additional disk

This option is only available for KVM virtualization.

Note

Using configurable options you can add only one additional disk per VPS. There is no such limitation in SolusVM 2.

This configurable option allows clients to add/resize/delete an additional disk for VPS ordered via WHMCS.

1. Log in to your WHMCS administrator web interface.

2. In System Settings > Products/Services > the created product > Module Settings select the necessary offer that must be created in SolusVM 2:

   

3. Open System Settings > Configurable Options.

   

4. Click Create a New Group or select an existing group.

   Note

   We recommend keeping the configurable options group for resource selection separated from other groups. You can use one configurable options group for several resources, but do not mix them with Operating System, Application, or Location.

5. Give your group a name, select the product (the one you created earlier) to assign to the group, and then click Save Changes.

   

6. Click Add New Configurable Option. This will open a new browser window where you will specify the option's settings.

7. Name your option Additional Disk, and then select the Dropdown option type.

8. In the Add Option field, specify the option value following the pattern: DISK_SIZE|TITLE, and then click Save Changes. In the mentioned pattern:

   • DISK_SIZE is the disk size in GiB. Use 0 to delete the disk.
   • TITLE is the title of the option to be displayed in WHMCS.

9. Repeat the previous step for each disk size you want to offer. Once finished, click Close Window.

   

Now, when customers choose your product, they will have an ability to add/resize/delete additional disks for their SolusVM 2 servers.
